Atacama Salt Flats

The Atacama Salt Flat is the largest saline deposit in Chile located in the Antofagasta Region and is located exactly between two Chilean communes. The closest city, San Pedro de Atacama, is located 55 km to the north, while the regional capital, Antofagasta, is 316 km to the west.

Desert hand

The Hand of the Desert is a large-scale sculpture of a hand located in the Atacama Desert in Chile, about 60 km south and east of the city of Antofagasta, on the Pan-American Highway. The closest landmark is the "La Negra Business City". It is located between km marker points 1309 and 1310 on the highway. It was created to represent the terrible human rights that Chileans went through in the past.

Huanchaca Ruins

The ruins of Huanchaca (Quechua: bridge of sorrows), are the vestige of an ancient silver foundry, located in Antofagasta, Chile. It was declared on January 7, 1974 as a National Historical Monument, according to Supreme Decree No. 9 of the Council of National Monuments of Chile.

Marina del Sol Casino

The Talcahuano Marina del Sol Casino is the largest entertainment and casino complex in Chile, according to the number of hectares on which it is located and its facilities. It is located in the commune of Talcahuano, Concepción, VIII Region of Biobío.

Plaza Colon

Plaza Colón corresponds to the main square of the city of Antofagasta. It is an apple-shaped urban park located in the downtown area of the city, a few blocks from the coast to the Pacific Ocean.

San Mateo Cathedral

The Cathedral of San Mateo de Osorno, which is located in the surroundings of the Plaza de Armas of Osorno, is considered an architectural jewel of ogival style, and a tourist site of the city of Osorno. Its author is the Chilean architect León Prieto Casanova.
